Memorial Day—We don’t ever want to forget the sacrifice made by those who did not return from the military. We remembered Robert Lockaby, John Wyatt, and Robert Clevenger this morning in our service. We also thanked many more who have served or are serving now. Our freedom to worship was bought with a heavy price. Let’s remember that and take a stand!

Yesterday, just beyond the United States flag, one of our church members, Bruce Henderson, was laid to rest in the church cemetery. He was a veteran. We are thankful for his service to our country and especially for his service to the Lord at Corinth.

Worship with us Easter Sunday—Sunrise Service 7:00 AM; Sunday School 9:30 AM; Morning Worship 10:30 AM; and Evening Worship 6:00 PM. Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Our Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, April 13, was a success. The weather cooperated, and we had lots of helpers to come. Thank you, Rock Springs, for sending workers. The children went home with lots of eggs and candy! Praise God for His blessings on this special day!!

Sunrise Service will be 7:00 AM Easter Sunday. Everyone is welcome! We will share a light breakfast afterwards, and then Sunday School will begin at 9:30 AM.

We invite you to join us for Easter services April 21. We will begin at 7:00 AM for a Sunrise Service. Following that, we will have Sunday School at 9:30 and our Morning Worship at 10:30. We look forward to an exciting day as we worship our RISEN Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Our latest project is remodeling the ladies’ restroom in our fellowship building. It is getting new paint, new flooring, and a new toilet. It will be beautiful when it is completed! We should be able to post pictures of the new restroom next week.

Our Egg-Stravaganza is coming up soon—April 13, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. We will have food, games, and a big egg hunt. Everyone is welcome! Please join us for this fun event!

Our youth have so much fun through CREW. They learn about life with Jesus and have fellowship with each other. Recently they did a scavenger hunt in Easley. They did fun activities and invited people to church. Attached are a few pictures. More will be added later.

We have a new sign at the intersection of Hwy 8 and E. Church Rd. It looks great!

The new outside wall lights are illuminating the sidewalks and parking lot. They are a safety improvement that was much needed!

A new fence at our church cemetery is one of our latest projects. It looks really good!

Operation Christmas Child is a year-long activity. We will emphasize a gift each month; however, any types of gifts can be purchased at any time. Watch for sales! You can get your gifts to Judy Johnson. January-hats, scarves, gloves. April-stuffed animals February-accessories March-quality crafts
